Meet the Humans (and Springers) Behind the Treats
Hi, we’re Kerry and Damian, co-founders of Polly’s Natural Nibbles and lifelong dog lovers.
Our story begins in 2018, when we first met.
Polly, a wise and gentle soul, had already been a part of Kerry’s family for 14 years. She’d spent her golden years bringing joy and comfort during tough times, always knowing when her family needed her.

When Damian and his two boys joined the family, Polly instantly took to them. Suddenly, gardening and weekend DIY projects became exciting puppy-like adventures. Polly was never far behind, leaving footprints in wet concrete, fur on freshly painted walls, Polly became firmly imprinted on all our hearts. “Polly Helping” quickly became a family catchphrase.
As Kerry and Damian’s family grew stronger, Polly seemed to understand her job was done. She began to slow down, gently passing the torch to Luna and Fudge, two playful pups who joined the crew just months before Polly’s passing at age 16. She guided them with calm wisdom, leaving behind more than memories, she left a legacy.
Later came Spud, whose temperament and quirks so closely mirrored Polly’s that it felt like she had returned to keep us on track. With three lively, intelligent, and ever-hungry springer spaniels in the house, we quickly learned how tricky it could be to train and treat them in a healthy, affordable way.

So we turned our love for our dogs and all dogs, into a passion project that grew into a small, mighty business. Polly’s Natural Nibbles was born.
Choosing the name was easy. When we asked the kids, it was unanimous: Polly’s name should live on, leading the way through Spud, her spirited doppelgänger.
Spud is now the face of the brand and proudly features in our logo, our official Chief Brand Ambassador and all-round good boy. Luna and Spud are also our official treat testers (a.k.a. The Mutley Crew)—nothing makes it onto the shelves without their enthusiastic approval.
With Spud growing and building pack friendships, it was clear that there was a strong bond building between Spud and Luna. Fudge seemed to take up more of the 'annoyed' auntie role, seeming to roll her eyes at the playful flirting. Soon there were little paws around the PNN home. 7 gorgeous little puppies arriving in the summer of 2022 just to annoy auntie Fudge and bringing a new dynamic to the pack.
In time all found new homes and the core pack returned to normal. But much was learnt from this new experience. One that was repeated the following Christmas. This time by accident...
"MUM!! WE FORGOT. AND I CAN'T GET SPUD OFF LUNA!" the dreaded tearful phone call to us as we walked around IKEA after leaving the kids in charge at home.
But again we welcomed 5 little bundles of joy into the home, much to auntie Fudges annoyance.

Our Why - Helping Dogs with Allergies
Our journey into natural treats wasn't just about love - it was born out of necessity.
Auntie Fudge, one of our beloved Springers constantly suffered from a range of allergies that left us feeling helpless. After countless vet visits and expensive medications with little improvement, we decided to dig deeper...
We researched and experimented. We started making changes to Fudge's diet. And slowly, we saw an improvement. That experience taught us just how powerful the right nutrition can be. Sadly, despite our efforts and the progress we made, there were so many complications that when an operation went wrong, we were sadly faced with the heartbreaking decision to end her suffering.
Fudge's legacy lives on in everything we do. It is now our passion to help other dog owners find answers for their furbabies, support and offer natural solutions, so you don't have to go through the same heartache or lose your beloved pet too soon.
Our knowledge and understanding of food sensitivities, behaviour links and natural alternatives has grown ever since. And we're now on a mission to help other dog parents do the same.
Whether your pup struggles with itching, tummy troubles or restlessness, we're here to support you with products and guidance that really work.
